The Indian Lake Ohio Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society (ACBS) was founded in 2007 as an evolution of the Wooden Keels & Vintage Wheels boat & car show held annually for over ten years at Russells Point Harbor, Indian Lake.
By forming a local ACBS chapter, the founders of the annual show were able to create continuity for future shows as well as an organization for local owners of historic, antique and classic boats.
The vision of the ACBS is to provide an organization wherein people with a common interest in and love of historic, antique and classic boats can come together with friends and colleagues in a spirit of fellowship and fun to share dreams, adventures, knowledge, history and experiences.
Our chapter promotes this vision to enthusiasts throughout Central and Northwestern Ohio. We’re a volunteer, non-profit organization. In addition to the annual Wooden Keels
& Vintage Wheels show, the Indian Lake Chapter has several social events throughout the year where members can catch up on families, what’s going on around the lake, and share their latest boat projects.
The chapter publishes The Bridge, a quarterly newsletter, and maintains a Ship Store with chapter and ACBS apparel.
